Jane Churchill new collection 2011

Jane Churchill new collection 2011

Fresh, young, vibrant and as easy to match and co-ordinate as they are to be charmed by, the new prints, embroideries, plains, and stripes from Jane Churchill bring the scent of country meadows and the tang of a sea breeze into the home.
Flowers, leaves and seed heads scatter a collection inspired by the beauties of nature. Embroidered designs such as Culpepper, Juno and Lynbrook share a chic simplicity, both graphic and pretty, while the gorgeous, multi-coloured floral print Mayflower has the luscious feel of a water-colour painting.
Under the Sea is a light-hearted and colourful depiction of shells, starfish and seaweeds, and Pisces features embroidered fish in a similar, playful vein. Completing a trio of seaside designs Spinnaker shows yachts in full sail, beautifully printed in a choice of smart monochromes including charcoal on cream.
Complementing these delightful figurative patterns are equally attractive abstracts, designs such as Doughnut, a joyful burst of embroidered rings, Bubble Stripe, a wavy stripe of embroidered dots like bright champagne bubbles, and Solano, an elegant embroidered trellis.
Contemporary and versatile, five different printed stripes in soft, brushed cotton range from the subtly variegated pinstripe of Dawlish Stripe to the bold, broad stripes of Brixham Stripe, all washable and suitable for upholstery.
Perfect for use with the patterns and stripes are plains Colwyn and Albany, both in a wide choice of colours to match colour groupings which include classic blue and taupe, serene aqua and zingy lime green, bright pinks, greens and oranges.
