Favourite brands in the showroom?

Sthåla Swedish tableware brand. They look great when you mix and match the ceramics. On the deli side, a Spanish supplier called Brindisa who imports high-quality, carefully sourced food from all over Spain. 

Favourite fabric brand?

GP & J Baker. A brand which we use a lot in our display furniture and cushions in the showroom. They have an incredible archive of fabrics.

What should people expect to find when visiting Amanda Hanley by design?‍

An eclectic mix of unique and colourful homeware and gifts. Top-quality furniture upholstered in the most amazing fabrics. Vibrant patterned cushions which will inspire you. Delicious artisan foods & wine individually sourced from all over the World. Lastly, A friendly greeting from our happy team. 

What's your go to playlist in the showroom?

I like anything by St Germain, whose music combines house and nu jazz music. Particularly a song called Rose Rogue, which often makes customers nod their heads to the music while browsing the showroom. 

Favourite Ahbd candle scent?

Number One, it is a very calming scent. Most customers ask about this scent when they walk through the door.

What's your home style?

I am a big fan of colour and pattern, so it's more of an eclectic home style emphasising organic elements and nature.

Where's your favourite place for dinner, lunch, or coffee?

Quince and Clover in Great Tew, great food and coffee.

Where are we most likely to find you doing outside of Amanda Hanley By Design?

I like to spend as much time as I can doing anything outdoors. Or you will find me cooking in the kitchen.

What are you enjoying doing at the moment?

I play the piano and have recently set up my music recording equipment, so I am enjoying seeing how it all works and what sounds I can create. It is very relaxing after a busy day at Amanda Hanley by Design.

If you could live anywhere, where would you live?

Cornwall or Spain.
